Building on a Foundation

I passed by the Columbia Secondary School Community Garden yesterday and saw this sign by the gate.   Made me think about the history behind those walls that are integral to our garden.    We are building on a sound foundation and will continue to do so.    Enjoy the growth.

The New Season, The New Sites

We’re looking at a lot of different locations for our fall sessions of Read a Recipe.    This particular garden would be perfect, and it is perfect.   The only problem is that it’s in Ireland.   Visit again soon to find out what gardens we will be using!

The Scribes at El Sol

We had some enthusiastic writers at the last Read a Recipe session, El Sol Summer Camp.   They all wrote about their favorite activity at camp.    Snow day was a big hit as was the visit to the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, in Jupiter.    And then there was the field trip to We Rock
