Mary Jo Meade-WeiniG
Mary Jo, who founded Read a Recipe for Literacy in 2007, has the best team imaginable. She thanks each and every one of her colleagues.
Julie Eyester
Julie Eyester teaches at Oysterponds Elementary School in Orient, New York, She also acts as the Regional Manager for Read a Recipe for Literacy in New York. Julie oversees the program throughout the year on the North Fork always engaging the children in challenging communication activities.
Pam Koch
Pam Koch, EdD, RD is the Executive Director of the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education, & Policy at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she is also an associate research professor. Pam works in partnership with Read a Recipe for Literacy providing her insight, knowledge and passion. Our successful partnership at Columbia Secondary School is due to Pam.
Kristina Klaas
Kristina Klaas is the founder and fundraising strategist of Kristina Klaas + Co. LLC. With over a decade of experience and successfully raising $26 million+ in support of organizations with a social purpose, Kristina is dedicated to bringing her client’s visions to life through customized strategic partnerships and sustainable fundraising.
Ada Medina-Solorazano
Ada Medina-Solorzano, Extension Agent Emeritus for Palm Beach County/University of Florida Extension. Her area of programming was nutrition and food safety. She oversaw a number of on-site programs for Read a Recipe for Literacy in Palm Beach County and acted as a facilitator for RRL at Melaleuca Elementary School in West Palm Beach. Ms. Medina-Solorzano continues to be involved in her field.
